Agent

  • Agent Installation Guide

Installing the agent is required to ensure continuous access to the remote desktop. This allows the program to start automatically with the system, run in the background, and switch between users. The guide below provides detailed installation instructions for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.

  • Launching the Agent in GNOME 49+ on Ubuntu/Debian

In the latest official Ubuntu and Debian distributions, the GNOME 49+ desktop environment is enabled by default. It uses the new Wayland display protocol, which replaces the older X.org (X11). Wayland support is currently under development, and it will take some time before we fully implement it. However, you can still maintain remote access to your devices by switching back to the previous X.org (X11) protocol.

  • Screen Image Quality

When connecting to a device in remote desktop control mode, the screen image from the remote device is transmitted as a video stream. To achieve high-quality video, stable network conditions are required — but these are not always available. For this reason, we provide several settings that allow you to adjust video transmission according to your current network conditions.

  • Remote Access Logging

Logging in remote access processes is essential for transparency and security. It records all user actions, which helps investigate incidents and prevent misuse. In addition, logs allow administrators to ensure compliance with internal policies, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
